Round 3 - This Saturday 19. October
Our next round is taking place this Saturday 19. October. We will be running Program 3 which includes walks at the start of the second session.
U6 - U8 families: Please arrive by 8:15am for warm-up and for an 8:30am start
U9 - U17 families: Individual start times! Please verify the program and refer to the start times for each age group. If you wish to participate in the walk session, arrive sufficiently early to allow for a warm-up and be ready to start at the indicated time. Walks start on the back straight, all the way behind the long jump pits.
Duties:
U6 families: This is your first chance for a set-up duty. Please arrive at 7:30am and visit the club room to enter your name on the duty sheet.
U11 families: Pack-up duty. Please remember to sign out when we are finished packing up.
For all mid-session duties: Please sign up for the duty at the start of the session, grab a vest and ensure you have your name recorded at the Duty Board so we can count it for Duty Bond refunds.
We are still looking for permanent team manager for the U7 Girls. You don't need to be a skilled athlete or coach to do this - key is to guide the team to the events. We will help you, and you get a committee discount fee for the year. Please reach out if you can take it on.
Chest patches:
Please remember that chest patches are mandatory. They are proof of registration and insurance, assist us with addressing the kids and speed up the process at the finish line.
All fully registered and financial athletes: your team manager will have your chest patch ready.
Trial athletes: Please print your own as per the LAVic instructions, bring it from last session or see us in the club room before the session. We’ll have plenty of them ready for you and are happy to assist.
Relay Season:
Relay registrations close on Sunday 27th October so we need to start getting the teams together!

Other info:
Please remember to bring hats, sunscreen and drink bottles and wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
Drinks, snacks and BBQ will be available for purchase. Uniforms will be available for sale as well.
We’re hoping that the rain will clear by Saturday morning. If you look out of the window and it looks dubious, keep an eye out for notifications on all our channels. If you don’t hear from us, we’re on!
Go Mentone!
