Round 2 - This Saturday 12. October

Our next round is taking place this Saturday 12. October. We will be running Program 2.

• U6 - U8 families: Please arrive by 8:15am for warm-up and for an 8:30am start

• U9 - U17 families: Please arrive at 9:45am for a 10am start.

Duties:

• U7 families: This is your first chance for a set-up duty. Please arrive at 7:30am and sign in to have your duty recorded. 

• U12 families: Pack-up duty. Please remember to sign out when we are finished packing up. 

For all mid-session duties: Please sign up for the duty at the start of the session, grab a vest and ensure you have your name recorded at the Duty Board so we can count it for Duty Bond refunds. 

Parents, we can’t run the event without your help. Many of us are parents with kids on the track too. Key vacancies:

• We need regular assistance in the canteen in the early session, particularly with setting up and manning it. This is also one of the mid-session duties, but if you are willing to own it for the season, this entitles you to the committee discount.

• We are looking for permanent team managers for the two U7 age groups. You don't need to be a skilled athlete or coach to do this - key is to guide the team to the events. We will help you, and you get a committee discount fee for the year. Please reach out if you can take it on.

Chest patches:

Please remember that chest patches are mandatory. They are proof of registration and insurance, assist us with addressing the kids and speed up the process at the finish line.

• All fully registered and financial athletes: your team manager will have your chest patch ready.

• Trial athletes: Please print your own as per the LAVic instructions, bring it from last session or see us in the club room before the session. We’ll have plenty of them ready for you and are happy to assist.

Weather looks promising. Please remember to bring hats, sunscreen and drink bottles and wear comfortable clothes and shoes.

Drinks, snacks and BBQ will be available for purchase. Uniforms will be available for sale as well.
