Round 1 - this Saturday 6th October

A warm welcome to our new members and welcome back to our returning members!

We kick-off Season 2018/19 with Round 1, this Saturday the 6th October.

Thanks to our coaches for their time on Coaching Day - we had a good turnout and hope our Athletes picked up a few new skills to prepare them for a great season.

Another big thanks to Thomas Mogensen for his fantastic work preparing our handbook again this season - thanks Thomas!

We are running Program 1 - click here.

Under 8 Families are on Set Up Duty, although we could use all the help we can get from any age group. Please arrive at 7:30am to ensure we get started on time.

Under 13 Families are on Pack Up Duty.

Note that these duties are separate to allocated Parent Duties, but essential to the running of our sessions.  Don't forget to allocate your Parent Duties.

Chest patches will be distributed to all fully-paid members by your Team Managers.  Handbooks and Registration Bags will also be distributed.

Free Centre Training continues on Wednesday 10th October, 5-6pm.

Information for New Members

Please make sure you register before you come along on Saturday.  Click here to register, and note that you can choose not to pay and have 2 sessions as free trials. Once you are sure you wish to continue, please pay online as soon as possible to give us time to print your chest patches.  Chest patches help keep the session running smoothly (and are compulsory).  Look for an email from Little Athletics Victoria (LAVic) with details on how to pay your registration fee after you register without paying.

A scan/photo of birth certificates or other proof-of-age can be sent to mentone@lavic.com.au.

U6-U8 Athletes, please arrive at 8:15am. Your session will go until 10am. U9 and older please arrive at 9:45am and expect to finish around 12:30pm. Assemble on the grass near your age-group sign to meet your Team Manager when you arrive.

Uniforms are recommended but not compulsory at our regular sessions at Mentone.  If you don't have a uniform, comfortable sports clothes will do.  Please also bring hats and drink bottles.  Uniforms will be on sale in the clubroom.

If you have questions or need help registering please come along extra-early and see Cameron in the clubroom or any of our Committee members in their black polo shirts. There is also more info on our FAQ Page and Parent Duties page.
