The first LAVic Cross Country event this season is the State Cross Country Relay Championships, being held at Cruden Farm, Langwarrin on Saturday 2nd June.  Athletes compete in teams of 3.  If you have a team already, or if you need help getting a team together please contact mentone@lavic.com.au.

Please note that you do not have to be running Cross Country each week to be eligible to run in the LAVic events - they are open to all 2017/18 members of Mentone Little Athletics Centre, but you do have to be U9 to U15.

Other events later in the season are the Southern Metro Region Cross Country Championships (Ballam Park, 23rd June), Road Relays (Sandown Racecourse, 7th July) and State Cross Country Championships (Myrniong, 28th July).  You must complete the course at the Region Cross Country Championships to be eligible to compete at the State XC Championships.
