On advice from LAVIC, we have postponed PB Day, Presentation Day and our AGM until further notice.
In the light of recent rapid developments with respect to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and subsequent public health crisis, please note the following:
LAVic is advising all its affiliated Centres to cease all Little Athletics-related activities, thus bringing the 19/20 track & field season to an early close. This would apply to training, Centre competition, Centre Championships events, Open Days etc. Centres should give consideration to delaying proceeding with Presentation Days to a more suitable date.
UPDATE (March 13th, 2020 at 11:00AM)
STATEMENT FROM LITTLE ATHLETICS VICTORIA
Little Athletics Victoria (LAVic) advises that in the light of rapid developments in recent days with respect to the coronavirus pandemic, the decision has been taken to postpone the 2020 State Track & Field Championships, due to take place this coming weekend.
Please join us in wishing our Athletes competing at the State Track and Field Championships this weekend the best of luck!
Participating families, please click here for the Parent Duty Roster and Event Info and check out the Mentone Athlete Timetable by athlete name for your call room times.
For those not attending, please remember there is no session at Mentone this weekend, but for your weekly fix of Athletics you can watch the action on the LAVic LiveStream here.
Congratulations to the following Athletes for breaking Centre Records on Saturday at Mentone, or Any Venue Records at Mentone or other recognised Athletics events:
Deng Agook also broke the U11M 100m, however Riley was a fraction faster.
We didn't have any Athletes achieve PBs in every event. Click here for the PB Report from Round 15.
At Centre Training tomorrow evening 5-6pm we have Shot Put, High Jump, Sprints and our U6-8 Program.
Congratulations to all our athletes who've qualified for the 2020 State Track & Field Championships this weekend.
