Please consider nominating for a committee position if you think you can help run our Centre next season. Our kids really need you!
As well as helping run our events, committee members have a say in how our Centre is managed. To lock-in the position, please nominate by the 28th March.
There are a variety of roles, with a variety of levels of commitment. Nominating as a General Committee member is a easy way to get started.
At this stage we know that the significant roles of President, Canteen Coordinator, Equipment Manager, Vice President, Assistant Secretary and Assistant Treasurer are vacant next season.
Please check our Committee/Team Managers page for more info and instructions for nominating.
U10-U12 Athletes, if you are interested in trying out for the SSV State Athletics Team to compete at the School Sports Australia National Track and Field Championships in Darwin in September, click here for info.
NOTE - the Championships are BEFORE the normal school athletics season, tryouts for the team are in May.
PB Day is this Saturday 23rd March. To help us build the program, we need expressions of interest in 800m, 1500m, Walks and 200m/300m Hurdles before 10pm Tuesday 19th March. Please click here for more info and instructions.
Please join us in wishing our 55 Athletes competing at the State Track and Field Championships this weekend the best of luck!

Congratulations to everyone who participated in Relayathon on Saturday and especially to our U12 and U13 age-groups for finishing in equal 1st place with 18 laps each. We managed 131 laps overall, which is one more than last year, but we still need around $500 in donations to reach our target via our everydayhero page. Click here for the full wrap up.
Further congratulations to Emily Ryan for breaking the U16G Javelin record with a throw of 36.46m, and special mention to Mitchell Fragiacomo for earning 5 PBs.

Our last Centre Training for the season is on tomorrow night from 5-6pm - we'll have our U6-8 session and a session for older Athletes.
